The Oatmeal is indeed calming and soothing to the skin. The pump dispenser ensures that the product stays hygienic and is not wasted either. The consistency of the lotion is between a typical watery lotion like Cetaphil and a good cream like Cerave. it is just right - neither watery nor too thick. That ensures that it stays on your skin long enough to keep it moisturized without feeling heavy or tacky. Dimethicone is a form of an OTC silicone that is indeed a skin protectant. It is missing any fancy ingredients like Ceramides or Hyaluronic Acid that are rather helpful for compromised skin. their Aveeno Eczema Relief cream is almost the same formula as this one with a Ceramide added to the list. So, if you are considering an Aveeno lotion for an infant/child with Eczema, that is a better option. However, if you are a grown up like me who also uses prescription ointments/creams periodically to manage their skin condition & need a good day time body moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated & calm at a very low price, this lotion is just perfect!The lotion is a 5 star product, the close expiry made me deduct 1 star.

I am buying this for 5+ years from Silkrute, this time the lotion seems to be not original. Its more like liquid and smell is also not good. Checked the expiry date, its till 2026.

I have been looking for a good moisturizer for long for my dry and sensitive skin. The moment I applied this one, I knew this is the I want. The only issue is fragrance but inam okay with that as all the others I have been using had good fragrance and they didn't suit my dry skin well.

This is a fantastic moisturizer. I have some rashes on my hand and it sometimes vanishes but after a few days this returns.My dermatologist gave me an ointment and advised not to wash my hands more than 5times a day which I can't do. I feel the dryness of my skin and noticed in Silkrute reviews about the aveeno moisturizer and ordered it. On a use of ten days the rashes vanished and I was overwhelmed, it's a very good moisturizer my 6 years granddaughter also use this, highly recommend for any skin. No fragrance, not so oily a little bit costly but fantastic...
