I had ordered some from places like zepto and it tastes awesome. But could only get like 3-4 at a time. So placed order in Silkrute for this. But I'm guessing it was not stored in a temperature controlled environment.There are sugar crystals that have formed and it tastes "old". The crispiness is gone and almonds have the flavor of bad oil (or old oil).It tastes horrible. To make sure, I ate one inordered from Zepto and one from this back to back and the difference is night and day.I feel physically bad (if you've ever eaten almonds that you forgot and just let it sit in a jar for a few months you'll know what I'm trying to convey here.)It almost tastes moldy and even the smell has changed.Do not order from Silkrute guys. Get it from places like Bigbasket, zepto or Swiggy Instamart. You get fresher stock which tastes great!This was a horrible experience. Especially since this is a food item and Silkrute does not offer any sort of returns/replacement options for it.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
