I read on a blog that backstop molasses is loaded with minerals and great for hair and skin ,so have a qtr spoon everyday ,it sure has helped .Can be added to salad dressings too instead of honey. This is good quality .

This product mixes 70% sugarcane juice into 30% Molasses by my reconning. Its too sweet to taste & very syrupy unlike real and 100% molasses which actually tastes bitter & as much thicker in consistency.While real molasses is available very cheaply, unfortunately, bottled molasses on Amazon is priced very high! Dhampure's price might be reasonable, but is a diluted syrup. Not the real deal.

I m not going to give any star ,Hope less, it'is a fake product, l had bought Dhampur Black strap molasses before and it was nice and original, and with the same trust now I bought 4 bottles again and it is not at all the same as before it is not at all BLACK STRAP MOLASSES it's a cornsyrup and it doesn't even tastes like molasses and the colour is light not at all black. I tried to return it but it is not returnable, this is how the consumers are being cheated.

The item is not Blackstrap molasses at all. Instead it is plain jaggery syrup. It is very sweet and has no other flavour other than sweet. Moreover there is no way to return this item as there is no category to classify this defect/misrepresentation

I've purchased a bunch of this brands Molasses as I used to have a Western Bakery and needed this fairly often for different products. I've tried other Indian brands and find this one the best, but... If you've had the opportunity to taste British or American 'Blackstrap Molasses', you'll understand what I'm about to say. The 'foreign' product is always very consistent in flavor and viscosity, while I've noticed that this one has it's 'good batches & bad ones'. When it's good, it is almost on par with their foreign counterparts. Usually however the flavor is more like liquified jaggery/guar, without the 'bite' and sharpness that one buys Blackstrap Molasses for. I've been able to purchase the Imported brands here, but you Really Pay for it...
