Daal and the packet had a typical odor of preservative powder which did not go off even after keeping in sunlight for 2 -3 days. While cooking we had to mix other daals to make it eatable.

We got medicine smell in sambhar twice, 1st I thought it's coming from water, after 2nd time I found that the smell is coming from dhal, don't know what chemical they added, didn't expect this from Silkrute.
