When I cooked this rice in the cooker, it left a blackish residue. The black spots in the inside of cooker at stuck and not leaving. Not sure what is used to make this rice brown or red in color. The name says organic. Ideally shouldnt bleed color or leave ny such residue. Highly dissappointed. Discarding this 2 kg product.

It is nice and clean. Easy to cook. Good on eating. This rice is used in our religious festival known as" Lalai Chhat". It is done by mothers who's has a boy child. Only this rice is eaten with the Milk and mahua, no sugar and salt can be added. This rice is also called " Tinni ka chawal". Thanks Amazon.
