The SriSri Tattva organic brown sugar is made from molasses and is supposed to contain less carbohydrates than normal refined sugar. I use this for sometime now as I am diabetic and should avoid high carb products to control my sugar levels on a daily basis. In a recent conversation with my doctor I was informed that any type of sugar has high carbohydrates which can be harmful to a diabetic however, brown sugar is less harmful than the normal refined white sugar found in most products. As you know anything consumed to an excess causes disbalance to our metabolism and health. Thus it is advisable to cut down on sugar intake as a whole if you are diabetic. I definitely recommend SriSri Tattva organic brown sugar if you are health conscious and have faith in organic products than those coming from major branded manufacturers, which might be economical but expensive in the long run if your health is impacted.

It's a scam. It is not brown sugar. They are selling Normal sugar with toxic food colour and calling it brown sugar. It is POISON. Don't buy it. If you wash the brown sugar , the colour will be washed out and you can see then the normal white sugar.
