I always used to buy Vedeka Brand Dry Fruits as the same is very knowly due to the quality they delivery. However a day ago. I got Vedeka Almonds deal @ 600 for 1 kg. Thus u ordered 4 kg as this was big deal for me. I got the delivery for the 4kg of Almonds. However 2 Qty is goods but other 2 Qty is taste bitter and very small and old almonds. This is not we want from the seller. Btw thanks to customer care they immediately take the action and helped me with their alternatives ways.

I generally have almonds after soaking. On soaking these almonds, it led to whitish foam. The almonds post soaking turned translucent. The almonds are a little sticky. Taste however is fine.

I have been buying this product from Amazon for the past many years but this time the old , bad tasting almonds are mixed with fresh almonds and almost half of the quantity in 1 kg pack is bad.

Mixture of stale and fresh almonds . Came to know this when soaking every night and finding few yellow and rancid almonds along with few white and fresh almonds on peeling them.

I have been buying Vedaka brand products since last few years due to it's quality, which though not superlative, was always quite fine. But this time the Almonds are 50:50 mix of old & fresh. This is apparent from taste when you eat them raw as well as when you soak them overnight and peel them in the morning. Old almonds don't grow in size as fresh ones, are very easy to peel of and are pale in colour vis-a-vis fresh almonds. The taste is also stale as compared to sweet taste of fresh almonds. Earlier, some heavily discounted, not so well known brands turned out to be like this but Vedaka and Happillo brand were mostly maintaining the quality. I didn't expect Vedaka brand also to resort to this trend of mixing old stock with fresh. Please don't risk your goodwill through such acts. A very bad experience . As I have opened and used the almonds, I can only raisey concern through my review.
