The pickele is too salty and can be had only with rice preperations which can dilute the saltiness to a level. Heeng levels are also very low. Spiceness is at a low end too. The only prominent taste you will get is salty. Definately not the heeng mango pickle I am buying again

The first time i ordered from them I was blown away as the pickle was really good. However, I have ordered from them twice since and both the times the product has been substandard. I assumed that maybe there was an issue with one batch, but both, seems highly unlikely. Very strong overpowering flavour of asafoetida in the pickle, so much so that eating it becomes a challenge. Seems the pickle wasn't aged well and made in a hurry. Wouldn't recommend it unless its meant to be used as a gad on someone.

Very tasty, it's just that the way we are used to pickles the way our grand mom used to make with lots of oil that actually added taste to the pickle, these do not have that much oil. So yes the taste is good but if you are looking for an authentic traditional taste then it may not be a perfect choice. Giving it a 3 star as I personally like the taste of tradational pickles , even if they contain a lot of oil and are not an healthy option
