Chips supplied to us seemed to be of Fresh Stock as we had ordered them just before Onam 2022.. Coconut Oil seems to have been used for frying these Banana Chips as mentioned in the Package. Most of the Chips sold are fried in Vegetable Oil [Palm Oil] and hence we selected this item.

While the previous purchase I had made on January 2022 was one of the best sweet banana chips I had ever eaten, the recent purchase was far from it. While the taste was almost the same, most of the chips had crumbled and within a few days of opening it; only the crumbled pieces remained. This seems to have happened when the chips were originally packed, as the cardboard packaging was exemplary and there's no way any damage could have taken place during transit. Hope Flavours of Calicut do the needful to prevent such incidents from occurring again.

The flavor of these chips is great and they also deliver quite freshly packed chips, you can make that out from the test and smell. It will be slightly expensive than what you can buy from a road side shop in kerala but I don't have to travel each time I feel like having these chips ?? The packaging is actually great where you can reuse the bag (has a ziplock style opening for keeping contents fresh) for something else. It also came in a sturdy box but some chips get broken by the time it reaches home which is inevitable i guess considering the amount of distance it has to travel.

Got my 2nd order of banana chips. This time almost 60% of chips are in broken state or some are in powder. It's better the product company should take proper measurements to make sure chips to be intact. 1st order review-It's tasty and fresh. Worth buying if you like banana chips from Kerala, as I used to get banana chips from one of my colleague. Some broken chips were there inside the packs, it's understood that traveling package may have damaged some banana chips. Overall good taste
