These are well made papad but tastes horribly of papad khaar (Sodium Benzoate- the chemical agent in all papads use to puff them up) As a result, you cannot even think of roasting/ microwaving the papad to eat. Even after frying, they taste okayish and the oil used for frying has to be thrown away. Best to avoid buying. Wouldn't recommend. Go for the regular lijjat papad or ganesh papad instead.

I normally get Lajjit papads, but they are not available right now. So I thought I would try these. First they just shipped it in a plastic Amazon courier envelope, so the papads were kinda broken up. Secondly, there was a very foul smell when I opened the papads. My cook said it was spoiled. The mfg was 2 months ago, but it says it lasts 6 months. So I had her cook one just to test it. It didn't smell bad after we roasted it. They are very light and crisp, which I liked. The flavor is just barely ok though. I dip it in chutney, and it is ok. But eating it by itself is not something I enjoyed. I love papads, and I normally eat 3 or 4 with my meal or even as a before meal snack. But I could only eat 1 with my meal with the mint chutney. So I won't buy these again.

Flavour is fine but it lacks the quality. Found a cotton string stuck in one of the Papad.[Update] today found a hair in a Papad as well.
