I;ve always believed a good biryani is not just the outcome of a good quality masala but also the preparation itself. I think the method as illustrated at the pack cover is not correct or im just an amateur who cant follow simplw instructions. you be the judge of that when u folks try it at home 1. Dont know where ive gone wrong with the recipe but it came out too spicy* for my taste (*Hyderabadi biryanis are known to be spicy). 2. Also the rice was dry and not juicy. The recipe doesnt mention to pour the chicken gravy over the rice unlike the lucknowi version from the same manufacturer. 3. Please if you are a cooking enthusiast with a soft corner for biryanis invest in a good copper vessel not the aluminium ones since the chicken and rice is always at risk of burning at the bottom. Flame adjustment is advised as per the thickness and type of ur vessel used.
