To make this process easier for the housewife, MAHASHIAN DI HATTI (MDH) visualised the concept of ready-to-use ground spices.Starting with manually ground spices, MDH soon switched over to automatic machines to meet the fast growing demand for MDH Spices. So much so today spices worth crores of rupees are manufactured and packed by modern machines and sold throughout India and abroad through a network of over 1000 Stockists and over 4 Lacs retail dealers. These machines now have a capacity of producing 30 tones of spices in powders packed in beautiful consumer pack of different sizes (10g to 500g) in a day.

MDH Chunky Chat is my absolute favourite chat masala. In the whole wide world ! I've tried maybe 2 dozen different chat masala brands... but this one wins hands down. I carry it with me when I travel and that's saying a lot ! Literally have to declare this when I go to New Zealand, and the MAF Officer looks at me sideways.... I tell him to open and try it for himself, but am always afraid he may like it too much !! No, seriously, this is one of the best available. It has found the perfect balance of all taste sensations..... perfectly balances the saltiness, sourness and heat.... I am a chef mainly based in New Zealand, and have a good grasp on flavour profiles and balancing. This chat masala delivers. Highly recommend..... even if just to try. You're more than likely gonna get hooked !
