As soon as you open the package you get the strong smell of hing. Unlike regular Hing powders that has starch/maida the color isn't white. Small quantity of hing enhances the flavour of the dish. After having tried different brands of hing this is the best I have come across. If you are looking to buy genuine hing then this is the product.
