Has a perfect taste and must be used in small quantities as it's concentrated and the fragrance and taste is amazing. The small pack we bought lasted us longer than any larger container of compunded hing as this is concentrated and does the job without adulteation of gum and maida that we usually find in compounded hing.

I have been purchasing this product since last two years or more and believe me when I purchased it at the start, it was a 100% pure product. A little of this hing and the kitchen would abe aromatic...... But then the downfall started..... And this time it was the limit. They gave GOND SOAKED IN HING SOLUTION ............ I for one will NEVER purchase this product ever..... I also spoke with the proprietor on phone twice but to no avail.

Thought asafoetida was just a budget spice until I saw the 450 rupees price tag for 15g here, just thought to try and tossed it in my dal curry, and damn! Flavor fireworks! Worth the price tag. Dal will never be the same.
