I’m giving this a low rating simply because I grew up using real sandalwood passed down from my grandmother so I can tell if the scent is fake. This one has a bit of a sweet smell mixed. I used it for my CP soaps and it didn’t last. Don’t recommend it. Then again, it’s hard to find the actual scent. Can’t expect the real deal to be sold for a low price.

I have ordered this oil two times before and it was really great. So I ordered now third time but this time it has no sandalwood smell, just lightly wood scented water. Silkrute customer service has placed a replacement order, I am curious if they send a good one this time! Edit: company refunded me, so that is good. So 3 stars now. But still they should not sell tbe product which is not same quality.
