This smells bad. Not sure if this is ammonium alum or potassium alum. The seller needs to clarify this. The package also arrived in a plastic bag crushed and broken.

Ordered this product for water filtration purpose, but it's not usable. Not sure if it's real Alum Stone or something else. 1 stone mixed in water and kept overnight but there were no sediment settled at bottom. In fact, water color turned whitish and tds increased to 1000+ (from 600). Won't Recommended for Water Filtration.... It might be useful for other purposes, can't comment on that !!
