From the taste it feels that good quality peas have not been used to make this powder. There is a distinct taste of weevils - the tiny insects that infest food items. I was really hoping to find a good quality protein powder in India but this definitely isn't that.

A cheap Vegan protein powder is a godsend, especially in India. The taste is good, easy mixability with water and smooth to digest. Mix with water and take after workout for some solid Vegan Gains :-). Highly recommended! Well done Urban Platter!

I tried it with everything and didn't like the taste. But had the whole box to go through so took the advice of a reviewer on here and added it to my buttermilk (I used amul) and it actually tasted pretty good, I only added half the serving size though (15 not 30g). Will try with homemade buttermilk next time and hope the results will be the same.
