I bought this for my wife who has a sensitive skin and required protection around her knee so that i doesnt damage the surface in case of minor bumps while walking out in the open. But this as too hard and the surface is so rough that i caused multiple bruises on the skin. I wont recommend this to anyone who has soft skin. Right now she is trying to wear it over her pants with an extra padding of cotton. But it is really uncomfortable. Please consider these before going for this product. The protective shell is however hard and can protect from direct injury.
