Let me tell you how this product works. First you wash your face and then apply this gel two or three times a day. After a day or two you'll start noticing that a thin layer of dead skin is already coming off of your face. You can gently scrub and remove it. If it's too much dead skin then I'll simply shave it of using my face razor. I had scarring from pimples on my forehead so I made a skin care routine and for that I used Neutrogena facewash followed by Dermafique toner and then I applied this gel. I used this constantly for 2 weeks, 2 times a day. I used to go to the office and there were some dead skin around my nose :P but no worries. After 2 weeks my forehead was 90% clear. I still use this when there is a pimple on my face.

Salicylic acid is amazing for preventing acne and working on lightening acne scars. This product does it well. Pros 1.Works on old acne scars - no matter how old your scar is, this will still manage to lighten it considerably. 2. Works fast - I have some year old scars in my chin that have become brown with time. Within a week, I was able to see a marked difference. 3. Prevents acne - In still getting some bumps here and there but that is hormonal acne that can't be avoided. Mostly, it has stopped large zits. Cons - 1. Not ideal for sensitive skin - My skin is not that sensitive but since this has 2% salicylic acid, people with sensitive skin might experience a lot of issues. Maybe start with 1% salicylic acid and then gradually move to this product. 2. Quantity isn't enough - if you're a regular acne sufferer, one tube would last you 2 to 3 weeks at most. I don't use this liberally but I appltly a thin layer all over my cheeks and chin. I do this twice a day. My tube is 2/3rd gone within a week. I wish this came in a 100 ml tube. If you really want to treat and prevent, get 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and use it in the morning. Then use this product before bed. Get ACV and dilute it with 2 parts water to use as a toner.

I have dry acne prone skin. It drys acne soon. But it has to be used only as spot treatment. It has gel consistency. Take a very small amount of gel and apply it over acne. In the description over the product its given as use 2-3 times a day and i used it for 2 days each day twice and my skin got very sensitive??, now I couldn't even apply moisture or sunscreen as it burns so much, calming my skin with aloe gel now.... It is a great product to get rid of acne soon but please use very less amount that too only once a day.

Sebogel cleared my daughter's T-zone acne pretty effectively with regular application over a month. We could see the effect almost immediately with skin around the most acne-prone area on her forehead peeling off.
