Pros: 1) Real good quality. You can just hold it in your hand to know how heavy it actually is. 2) Keys are very unique in design. Not the kind of lock that could be picked easily. 3) Works smoothly without any cranks in key rotation whatsoever. Cons: 1) Value for Money is kind of doubtful as it on the expensive side. 2) Sometimes the shackle gets kind of glued in the lock and needs to be pulled hard to open.

If there are ten perfect items made in India this is one of them. It is so heavy and strong you just want to hold it in your hands for hours. The finish is perfect. The shackle is shining thick and absolutely unbreakable. it cannot be cut by electric angle grinder, it cannot be bent and there is nothing you can do with this lock whatever. the lock weighs a whopping one kg, imagine that. There is a very elaborate dust cover so no dirt can go inside the lock. The keys are absolutely unduplicatable, these are neither dimpled nor grooved but something entirely different. I am sure if literally bullets are fired into this lock it will not break. This is THE ultimate lock made in India. Thank you Godrej!

First let me get rid of the gripes. I ordered a new product but I think the product I got was a returned/renewed product. I could tell that the 4 keys have been used as it's plastic bag was tampered and open. There was no usual Amazon packaging and the product was delivered in it's original box itself with just the address label stuck on top of it. So 1 star for the seller and packaging. Now the product itself is 5 stars. I didn't return it inspite of the above and am happy with my decision. The key mechanism is reversible and very smooth. In fact it's the smoothness I have experienced yet. The dirt guard on the key hole is of good quality and will do it's job very well. The core is evva3 and said to be hard to pick (if not impossible). The construction is sturdy and the lock will resist physical attacks on it. Overall a top grade padlock which I will highly recommend to anyone serious about security.
