Quality is good but not set for fry’s . Bottom got sticking if we do fry like potato. Quality wise also we can only do 500grm or 750 grams hardly in this pan. So for less quantity curries it will suits

Received it today. The build and non-stick quality is excellent and was evident while taking out the label stuck in the inside of the pan with glue and has good heat distribution, is sturdy, heavy and easy to clean and handle.It's far better than any brand and even better than the 5 ply pan of VINOD.It can be equivalent or better in some ways as compared to Cast Iron pans or skillets.The only thing requiring attention is that it shouldn't be put on high flame or should be dry or empty heated. Follow the instructions in the booklet accompanying it.Definitely a must have.

Good heavy pan/will need both hands to move about esply with food in it/quite large/extremely stable on the stove.One has to really follow the maintenance instructions to keep it stain free.Even preheating shd be only on a low flame(I only preheat after lightly coating the surface with oil ).Food cooks beautifully/tastes good(cover the pan while cooking/keep stirring frequently). Decided to stick with Hawkins after really looking through all the other similar products. It's also much cheaper than other triply cookware in the market ,so really value for money .Huge plus was the wooden handle {none of the others have this}.Only complaint , label on the food surface of the pan ...Took some cleaning to get off all the gum residue & it's still left a slight discoloration . Hawkins , Please apply labels on the non cooking surfaces !

This is the most beautiful pan I've owned - and its beauty is not just in appearance but in strength and functionality. This is the first stainless steel pan I've had, and was skeptical about whether it would be easy to maintain, whether food would stick while cooking, etc. but I've been using this for a month now and it looks almost as good as new. I did the initial tempering as explained in the product literature (simple to do) and use it as per instruction - not to use it on very high heat, and not to preheat too long without oil. Food mostly doesn't stick but sometimes does while cooking but not very hard, and when the pan cools, it is easy to clean off. As advised, I don't soak the pan but wait till it becomes cool to wash it as usual, no scourer only soft nylon brush or the cleaner provided. Easy to wash, great to cook.The bottom is really heavy and thick, so it's comfortable to cook on without burning easily, yet the pan heats up quite fast and retains heat well, so no need to heat much. It is a sturdy pan and I hope Hawkins brings out a 22cm size as well.

Hawkins is all time favorite cooking utensils brand for me.Review after using it for 3 days. Non stick (you have to know the trick). Easy to use and clean (use Pitambari powder for best results). Weight is absolutely balancedGood and sturdy quality. I have fried fish in it n it did not stickHence go for it
