I am highly impressed with these clay pots. It's being more than a month I am using it. It's too good. I have stopped using pressure cooker in my daily life... ( I use it only for boiling rajma and chole) I also boil potatoes in these pots. Clay pots give the original taste to our food. Really thankful to "Craftsman India" for making such pots which are easy to handle and wash also. I would suggest the review viewers to read the instruction manual given with the product and then use it. Some of them have mentioned about the stickyness and smell in the pots. I believe people who are looking for a clay pot are seriously concerned for their health. So putting little extra efforts to get something good is not a compromise. Things which according to me should be taken care of while handling pots: 1)Keep it in sunlight once or twice in 15 days. 2)Cook in low flame and then gradually you may increase the flame. 3)Do not put cold water after making food. It will cause cracking of pot. Either leave it to cool down or use warm water. 4) Use only a wooden spoon. Avoid metal spoon for mixing veggies.

I have prepared chicken curry and corriander lemon chicken gravy from the pots and it came out really well. The claypots have enhanced the flavour of the foods. Cooked both the foods in the low-medium flame and haven't faced any burnt or fumes throughout. Chicken curry : Saute a hand full of finely chopped small onions with curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, slitted green chillies and tomatoes. Grind corriander seeds, cloves,cinnamon,sanuf,cardamom,pepper seeds,and little cocount into a fine paste..Add the grinded mixture, along with chilly powder,turmeric powder and mint leaves and cook until the raw smell goes off. Then add chicken, 1 cup of water and salt and cook it for 45 mins in a low medium flame. Stir occasionally to make sure nothing sticks at the bottom. Tasty chicken curry is ready ?? Corriander lemon chicken gravy : Marinate chicken with salt, pepper powder, chilly powder, spices powder, corriander powder, lemon juice and hand full of finely chopped corriander leaves for 30 mins. In the claypot ,add little oil, and saute one large onion till it turns golden brown colour. Add curry leaves and the marinated chicken and in the low flame for half an hour to 45 mins without adding water. Let the chicken to cook from the water that oozes from the chicken itself. Finally garnish it with the corriander leaves ?? Enjoying many more mouth watering food items from the claypots.

Quality wise product is very good. Product received in good condition but when soaked overnight one of the vessel is dissolved so requested for replacement.
