I received the product in good condition. All the plates were as shown in the photo. I have made idlis twice since I bought it and they turn out well and of good size. It is easy to handle and clean and not heavy.

A good product worth the money. But the three handle-like things provided to place and lift the Idly plates not only have sharp edges but also unevenly fixed to the plates in a triangular form. This makes its use difficult.

It's sturdy and quality steel,I guess.But you can cook only 14 idlis in one go.It holds only two plates!!! Other smaller versions cook 24 idlis at a time.So I would say waste of time,gas,money and storage space!! The makers lack imagination.Sorry to say??
