It's absolutely waste of money. I'm writing this review after using this for six months. Initially I have given 4 stars seeing this product. And seller send personal message to rate the product. This review is a sincere review after using it for six months. The idly stand is completely flop . The down part touches the upper stand when idlies rise while cooking. Even when we do idiyappams in the patra plates also same happening. Actually this all kind of items after using some times only we can understand whether it's good or not. Also the kaddai is too bulky . And takes too much of space. Also the lid are not closed tightly. Again the hooks of the plates inside are not sturdy, it bent while we raise it from the kadai while cooking. Burn the hands also. Normally some companies use black colour unburnt hooks to hold it. Total disastrous thing. Don't buy

Hi , I am using this product for 2 weeks now - Pros - It does the work it is meant for Cons - There are 3 side supports which makes it difficult to balance it while lifting it . 2 support would have worked better Since we need to use side bars to keep the tray inside and take it outside of kadhayi - It results into minor steam burns everytime tray is placed or taken out . Iron in the lid which holds the knob is already rusted and everytime I make idly the rust fell on the centre (Top of idli). I believe minor corrections to the design will help to make this product perfect.

The plates donot stand when idly batter is used ...they spill all over..there should be some slot provided for the plates to rest inside the kadai. Otherwise the product is fine. Instead of steel handles provided they should have been in bakelite heat proof material.

Overall product is good i have seen people giving negative reviews to the product but its not like that if youll pour major quantity of batter definitely it'll be a mess so there is a problem in your cooking not the product I made mini idli with this steamer and they are perfect. Although a kadhai is there it should have a heavier base.

Disadvantages
Not even a year and it has developed a crack in the main utensil and cannot be used any further. It is also in warranty but I cannot figure out a way to get it fixed throught the seller here.
