Hi All, I ordered this kadai even after seeing so many bad reviews. First dish I made is vegetable pasta and it was a perfect utensil. Glass lid did not break in high steam also.Was able to sautte vegetables in less oil.Attaching some pictures and one video.Restricting 5 rating since I have just used it once.Thanks

The bottom is heavy and spreads heat uniformly. We din't notice any signs of food getting burnt even at bit high flames. It's a worthy product to buy. It's better to go for 3 to 4.5 ltr capacity. Kadai with 2 ltr capacity which we bought seems to be bit small for a every day usage for a family of 3. It's definitely a good product and we are planning to buy more of this.

The quality of the product is really good. To avoid any confusion, aluminum is on the outer side, the inner layering is all stainless steel. It can be used on both gas as well as induction stoves. The packaging of the product was also quite good. My only suggestion for improvement is that the handles should probably have some plastic coating or some sort of insulation as it will be hard to pick up a hot one from the stove directly.But I knew that before buying. The lid is a nice to have although it seemed a bit loose but does the job. So,a very reliable and value for money buy and most importantly saves you from eating food on aluminum or non stick coating utensils which can cause harmful chemcials induced in your food.

Overall a regular steel kadai, nothing special, burns food if left unsupervised. Could buy a similar or better for less than this price range.I suggest, don't buy this. There are other better options at a regular bartan shop.

I bought this Kadhai about a month ago to gift it to my daughter who is staying abroad. This Kadhai was used only seven times and this lid cracked while using it. How safe is this? This Kadhai has a warranty. What can we do to rectify this?

Pathetic Product & false Information !!! Silkrute do not remove the brand even after more than 25 Negative reviews of broken glass issue..!! A complaint has to be filed in consumer court for the false information about glass!! It shows the glass has tempered glass !! However it is not at all !! Lid Glass was broken even I was cooking on lowest heat & the hole was open to release the steam..!!

Size is fine for cooking for 1or 2 people . The lid does not properly fit in ...It's a bit loose, letting the steam out. I think it should have been tighter....Yesterday my rice did not cook properly, later got burnt
