I change my review....earlier one I only mentioned about the actual capacity being 3 litres instead of proclaimed 4.5 litres.Praised good looks.I did mention rust like stains ,thought will go off after washing.After washing it did not go off.TO test I boiled water twice and the bottom inside was full of rust.This case was mentioned by some other customer also in their review.Further when you boil water, powder like substance falls from the lid.MY PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE AND. I'M GOING TO RETURN.A GOOD REPLACEMENT IS DOUBTFUL AS THE QUALITY IS DOUBTFUL.I got a replacement,the kadai was shining but after boiling water ,it became rusty.I was confused then realised kadai being induction one, at the bottom, in middle there is an iron layer which causes the mischief.To remove rust stains and make it sparkle ,pour little white vinegar and clean it thoroughly. YOU WILL SEE LOT OF MUDDY COLOUR WATER.THAT'S RUST COMING OFF.HERE IS THE SOLOUTION TO THE RUST PROBLEM.BUT AS FAR AS THE CAPCITY CONCERNED IT IS ONLY 3 LITRES AND CAN'T BE INCREASED TO 4 LITRES AS CLAIMED BY THE MANAFACTURER

The quality of the product is really good. To avoid any confusion, aluminum is on the outer side, the inner layering is all stainless steel. It can be used on both gas as well as induction stoves. The packaging of the product was also quite good. My only suggestion for improvement is that the handles should probably have some plastic coating or some sort of insulation as it will be hard to pick up a hot one from the stove directly.But I knew that before buying. The lid is a nice to have although it seemed a bit loose but does the job. So,a very reliable and value for money buy and most importantly saves you from eating food on aluminum or non stick coating utensils which can cause harmful chemcials induced in your food.

Bought this wonderful kadai recently after researching a while. Was looking out for a good quality steel one as my previous buy was really bad in that it burnt the food very fast. So this experience had made me a bit skeptical. But Vinod kadai turned out to be my best buy. No burning of food, easy to clean, looks good, easy to handle too. Overall an excellent product. Highly recommended. Also, received the product in very good condition with good lid.

What's good:The base of kadai is thick to prevent food from burning (which is only drawback of stainless steel cookware).Good news:The only drawback which I faced in my previous purchase of 3 ltr kadai is that handle of lid broke within 2 3 days of use. However this time they have changed the handle of lid. I think they have not updated the pic yet.General review:This product is for those who are willing to switch to stainless steel cookware from non stick cookware

I bought it because of its three layered bottom. It's steel no doubt - don't know what's inside the lining at the bottom - whatever it is, is not thick enough to prevent burning. You have to be very alert while cooking, even on extremely low gas flame whatever you are cooking tends to stick to the bottom. It is being touted as suitable for gas cooking but my experience tells me it's just right for induction cooking. Since I have already used it I am unable to return it - what a waste of money.

The kadhai is good with a Heavy bottom which lets the food cook without burning it.One advantage is that you can cook food with very less oil and it will not get burnt or stick to the bottom, So its good for people interested in low oil cooking. Only disadvantage is you cannot use a steel spoon / spatula on the kadhai because it can spoil the kadhai and you will see scratches on it. Its better to use wooden or plastic spatula.Also, while washing the kadhai use a soft scruber.
