Pathetic Product & false Information !!! Amazon do not remove the brand even after more than 25 Negative reviews of broken glass issue..!! A complaint has to be filed in consumer court for the false information about glass!! It shows the glass has tempered glass !! However it is not at all !! Lid Glass was broken even I was cooking on lowest heat & the hole was open to release the steam..!!

Initial review: Really good steel kadhai. Have always been a fan of Vinod steel products. Food doesn't easily get burnt like other ordinary steel kadhais because of its thick bottom. Value for money. Review after use: Have used the kadhai for a year for regular cooking till today. However I always used to hear a light cracking kind of sound whenever the lid was put on. Today after a year's use the lid glass suddenly burst with glass scattered over the food! Now, I used to be pretty impressed with vinod steel products, though they are comparatively costly, however if you cannot provide a heat proof glass for cooking purpose then why make it of glass at all?? Isn't it common sense?? Make steel lids instead which you can provide of good quality! Now I would have liked to buy more of such kadhai but after today wouldn't suggest anyone to buy it if the lid is of glass.

I bought it because of its three layered bottom. It's steel no doubt - don't know what's inside the lining at the bottom - whatever it is, is not thick enough to prevent burning. You have to be very alert while cooking, even on extremely low gas flame whatever you are cooking tends to stick to the bottom. It is being touted as suitable for gas cooking but my experience tells me it's just right for induction cooking. Since I have already used it I am unable to return it - what a waste of money.

I bought this Kadhai about a month ago to gift it to my daughter who is staying abroad. This Kadhai was used only seven times and this lid cracked while using it. How safe is this? This Kadhai has a warranty. What can we do to rectify this?
