So finally I decided to get rid or aluminium, raw and anodized both. Read a lot and realized steel is best for cooking and quite healthy as well. Then the major problem with steel is that it gets heated unevenly and therefore cooking is not that great. Prestige solved that problem with an aluminium base. High end steel cookware nowadays has three layers with aluminium sandwiched between steel for good even cooking and the food doesn't touch aluminium at all.There are some possible improvements in the product like improving the strength of handles and improving the whistle as well for which I deduct one star.SERVES the purpose well otherwise.

The product needs to be exchanged as the plastic handle of the lower part / base vessel of the cooker is found broken in two parts. I was out of Patna since 19th July, 2018 and returned to Patna only today. When I opened the package of the product today I found the breakage of the handle. Consider my request as a special case and do the needful in the regard at the earliest.16.09.2018Why are you not taking any actions to replace the item despite repeated reminders.The product is still lying as it received since it cannot be used with out the handle of the base vessel.28.09.2018Are you going to replace / exchange the product? You are reviewing it for a long time now and not giving any response in spite of my repeated requests. If you not replacing it confirm it accordingly per return so that I can throw away the item as it is not of any use to me.

Durability i have to see but i have rated it. Very happy using this multitasking cooker. U can easily sauté veggies in it and cook fastly as it is cooker. Rice, daal, veggies, chhole, masala kadhi all came out very nicely . No sticking issue , easy to clean . Best thing all quality in this steel cooker , was looking for this kind of cooker from long time. But off course Using it with care.:-)For veggies it can cook for 2-3 people (good amount of servings) so if u looking for 5to6 people veg prepration u can check 5L.

This is made of SS stainless steel, thick, rough, durable and heavy.Can be use in almost all type of heating method used for cooking i.e. LPG, Induction, Halogen etcInitially it requires some practice to close the lid in one trial as it is outter lid type and I have not use this type of lid before.

Steel isn’t as good as of futuras. Appears heating isn’t even as some part of the food gets burnt out. And all Steam spills out particles around nozzle up to a radius of 7 cms which gets tougher to clean. Not quite happy with this product from Prestige.

Delivered on time, packing was also okay. Quality wise okay not super good I've expected heavy and thick bottom but it was not like that other than that it was good

This cooker is smaller than what the description claims. There’s a higher defect in the locking mechanism. The lid doesn’t shut properly and takes multiple tries to get it to close. Takes too much patience and effort.I’d recommend you buy a cooker from your local shop in person after trying and understanding the look and feel of it.

Iam using Prestige pressure cookers for a long time. This is the first time i bought a stainless steel cooker. Its a little heavier than aluminium but steel-wares are good for health in the long run. It even has a pressure release indicator so we do not need to lift the weight and see if the steam has been released or not.
