The best part i liked was that, it can be used both in the gas stove and induction stove. Easy to clean.. the svachh lid makes less mess... The only constraint is that it is too heavy to lift especially while washing.. the lid is also too heavy.. since it functions perfectly, we can neglect these smaller issues. Go for it...

Writing a review after a month of usage 8 litre pressure cooker. I bought this cooker as I wanted to cook upto 3kgs of non veg. Cooking non veg is not a problem but not suitable for biriyani. As in the picture, biriyani gets burnt no matter how much water we add. Maybe, the pressure pan is better for the biriyani but 8 litre pan was not available.

I purchased it and found that the whistle is not fitting properly.I replaced it and in that whistle was fine but the lid was not fitting properly.Finally returned the product.Disappointed with the quality branded prestige is selling.Dont buy this online.*Instead go to the showroom and test and then purchase

Updated review - 17-Feb===================After around 4-6 months of usage the top closing lid got bumped up which means the whole point of svach feature got removed.Now my headache startedI gave it to service centre (Trivandrum-Manacaud) on Jan 7th and they sent the product to Ernakulam/Cochin.After around 3 weeks and continuously following up with the TVM service centre they blindly told me that since i bought from Silkrute/online site it will take days and don't disturb/call us everyday and they will give a callCalled Prestige Service Centre and call the Cochin Service and they told this product is stopped and they tried to replace us with some unwanted Kitchen set products for the same/little bit higher price.FINAL: Since i am not a fan of non stick and needed stainless steel pressure cooker, i asked them to give a call back after 10 days which is end of Feb and give us a 8L or higher whichever is available pressure cooker.My Old Review (when i was a happy customer and working fine)=========Bought a small one and this one. They made a bend in the top and no spillage on the stove! GENIUS! Prestige never failed to impress me, my wife and my mom.Since it is steel, you can put rice directly, not like aluminium ones.Must buy for family having more than 4.

It's reliable, well built stainless steel cooker. It comes with a stainless steel Trivet / plate. Fixing the lid requires more effort as it is quite tight.
