This metro patina is tops. Pros - Loved the shiny exterior and matte finish interior. Heavy as a steel triply utensil should be Silicon grips around the rim make it easy to carry. The grip is thoughtfully designed to extend a little beyond the flat surface Rims are soft - no chance of hurting yourself Pricing is good compared to other triply options I have the 2 ltr capacity- planning to buy the other two since they are stackable Cons - They don’t come with a lid - wish Hawkins takes this up and introduce a well fitting steel lid soon. Wish they use a better quality sticker on outside of the utensil

1. The built quality is just great 2. The finish is very nice & flawless, the design is fabulous (the ratio of width & depth, the flat bottom the elliptical rim all spot-on) 3. Since it's tri-ply & bottom is thick the food doesn't burn 4. Being SS, it is the best material (The aluminium, teflon coating, cast iron etc. have some or other limitations) 5. Liked it so much that ordering a few more (slowly, sare ghar ke badal dalunga) 6. Though Hawkins says that don't wash it in dish-washer but we have been washing it since long & we haven't found any adverse impact, infact the external shine is still intact like new as it has not been scrubbed even once.

All the 3 sized utensils are sturdy,elegant and heat uniformly. Retain heat in food for longer time. Elliptical design is very thoughtful, to cover, pour and hold. The silicon handle pads are loose fitting and come out easily hence risky when handling hot vessel. Company could please improve on that. The rounded shaped at the bottom of each vessel is most convenient for stirring food while cooking. Very intelligent design and equally classy and sturdy. Hawkins-the most trusted brand always best!????

It is really not very easy to pour. Because of its thickness milk seeps from sides very easily. If you are planning to pour milk out of it in a cup or mug.. then it will be really difficult not to spill.
