The Lid is made of AISI 304 18/8 food grade Stainless Steel that is extremely hygienic durable and non-reactive to most foods. It has a comfortable stay-cool plastic knob.

It is no doubt a very good product. I am deducting 2 stars as I have received without lid even after paying extra for that model. Seller should check order and product carefully before packing. Can't return now as my family started using it as soon as it arrived.
