Die casting is a metal casting process whereby metal is heated to a very high temperature and poured under high into a mould cavity. The molten metal takes the shape of the mould and the result is a complex intricately designed pot or pan which s the metal where it is needed the most building strength and functionality. Once the molten metal hardens the mould is opened and the die cast pan is removed. The final result is a finely engineered piece of cookware with wonderful properties for cooking. I tried everything possible under the sun to make this product work but it doesn’t. It cannot stop sticking unless you put truckloads of oil. I have seasoned it twice already. I am done. I want my money back

Since 2 years I was looking for Iron Tawa. There are few brands I was considering, but, somehow finding those quite expensive. Yesterday I started my R&D again on Iron Tawa and to my happiness I found this great yet uncomplicated design & relatively good price by my favourite company. Yes Hawkins my Favourite. Best is they are providing 5 years warranty like their other futura products. Packing perfect. It’s manufacturing date is this month March 2022. Pre-Seasoned with vegetable oil. Just wash with mild gel detergent and wash with like warm water and use it. Heat is evenly distributing. Design is little concave which prevent oil accumulation at the circumference of Tawa.

Advantages
Quality is good. The only problem my mother faces is being heavy she cannot lift it with one hand and since no wooden covering in hands or otherwise to hold it she needs to be really careful while picking it up as the side handles become hot. Not for you if you like to flip your rotis on stove heat and if you roll your rotis and heat them simultaneously then removing tawa and placing it again and again will be a problem as it will require use of both hands that too with a cloth.
