Only small portion of knife touches the board, hence the veggies does not get separated into pieces while cutting. Really not serving the purpose. But the knife is sturdy and plus point it the board is not a netted pattern and it is good to cut veggies like cucumber and tomatoes, which oozes water while cutting.
