This spoon can not be used when your baby is learning self feeding, reason - the spoon has depth, so the moment baby takes spoon in mouth, the food goes in spoon depth. The baby's are still learning the concept of spoon and self feeding, and this spoon becomes functionally useless. Instead, prefer swallow spoon, so that the baby can lick completely.
