I like those gel based highlighters more than the ink ones. Doesnt smudge at all, easy to use and the colour's also bright enough in case of the yellow and pink shades. The Green shade in comparison is of a fainter hue but looks fine. Its somewhat like a crayon so ball point or gel pens won't work if you want to write over the highlighted area. And one thing, if you've written something with a pen, wait for some time because immediate use of this highlighter smudges the ink and it looks horrible.

Been using these textliners since I need them a lot for my medical college. I had used it before , so I was aware of it and its usage. It's glossier than a crayon, not like your sketch kind of markers. Doesn't try up and doesn't mess up if left open forgetfully.
