Very badly designed and it’s a hassle to use. I threw mine out as it’s very frustrating for my kid. Something similar with their India map. I instead bought one from a alternate brand whose map was better.

Unlike puzzle types, this one comes with individual states as single pieces. Good one to learn with fun at affordable price. Material is a sort of spongy, but hard enough. Thickness of the piece could have been increased to survive wear and tear over a period - but too early to comment. Covers all latest state as on today :-) including Telengana. One slight modification suggestion would be to mark the location of the state capital in the individual state pieces. That would have been awesome. Smaller union territories like Pondicherry, DamanDiu etc. were missing. But no big deal as long as you know about that before you purchase. Overall a good one to buy for your kids and also can work as a gift. There could be better products on wood which can last for long. But for the money you are paying the value you get is good. I am happy with the product.

Educational way to make children aware of the Indian States, its make of Foam the frame and states should be handled with care, rough handling may damage the edges and joints...then be careful with the small states, its easy to lose them... Then they are good for children to play and learn, it could have a been a bit cheaper So half star reduced for not recommended for rough use (difficult to ensure kids are not rough with it and not lose the small states) and half star reduced for cost if it was about Rs 100/- it would be just perfect...Free shipping seems to be factored into the cost

Ordered it for my kid who was about 3 yrs,just to play + to make him accustomed with state names. He loves playing it. Initially of course he needed our help, now at around 3. 8yrs he can not only complete it independently, he can even recognise soo many states just by shape. Good toy. It is quite sturdy even with kids. It would be good if we were given with some box or some mechanism to store, as pieces tend to get lost
